Go long in the TRAILFLY™ MAX. We’ve taken our popular TRAILFLY™ shoe and maxed it out with a generous slab of new FLYSPEED™ PRO foam for a comfortably cushioned yet naturally responsive ride – perfect for long distances and ultras over hard-packed trails.

The new supercritical, nitrogen-infused EVA foam is our highest performing to date. It’s super-lightweight, while giving both greater comfort and superior energy return. We’ve put 24mm of it in the heel and 18mm in the forefoot. This combines a 6mm deep, energy-popping BOOMERANG footbed for a bouncy feel that retains stability underfoot and plenty of agile ground feel.

The natural, foot-shaped design of the shoe – combined with the upper’s MET-CRADLE overlays – work to lock in at the heel and midfoot for confidence-boosting hold. The shape then widens at the toes, allowing them to spread, perform naturally, and increase that feeling of underfoot control, even on technical trails.

Hard-wearing, tacky rubber infused with the world’s strongest material – Graphene – covers the outsole. The 4mm long multi-directional lugs not only cut through loose trail and remain super-durable but also give improved grip in wet conditions. Underfoot flex grooves further enhance the agile, natural feel.

  • Running Footwear

To maximise the life of your running shoes, make sure you dry them fully between runs. When dirty or muddy, clean your shoes to maintain the flexibility of the upper and its resistance to wear.

    Washing:

For best results hand wash your shoes as close to the end of your run as possible. To wash your shoes:

    • Remove the insoles and loosen or remove the laces.
    • Brush off dried/caked mud using a soft brush.
    • Rinse your shoes under cold running water while brushing off any remaining mud/debris (an old toothbrush is perfect for this).

    Drying:

Place your shoes in a warm room, an airing cupboard or outside (but not in direct sunlight) to dry. Do not dry your shoes in a tumble drier or next to radiators, fireplaces or hot summer sunlight.

You can speed up the drying process by removing the shoe’s insole and shoelaces, and by stuffing them with newspaper.

Make sure your shoes are completely dry before wearing again.

    RE-WATERPROOFING:

As with all water-repellent treatments, over time they begin to lose their effectiveness. To maintain your shoe’s waterproof finish, we recommend periodically re-waterproofing them using a product such as Grangers® Footwear Repel Plus.
