Service Description

The "Mount Challenge" is a unique Duathlon event that can be taken individually or with a couple of friends (Max 3 participants). Each participant will receive a BASALTsix T-Shirt and their time added to our leaderboard. Mount Sandle Fort overlooks the River Bann in Coleraine and is reported to be Irelands oldest known settlement. The #MountChallenge includes a 1km run from the New Bridge along the river path towards Somerset Park, here you will mount the Red Shark Water bike for a 700m cycle down stream to Mountsandel Jetty. The second run leg is a 4km figure of eight loop incorporating two climbs to the top of Mountsandel Fort before a final cycle back upstream to Somerset Jetty. Let the games begin.
