Exploring West Strand Beach Portrush

Exploring with Redshark Water Bikes

Portrush is a seaside town on the Causeway Coast of Northern Ireland, 60 miles north of Belfast and host of the British Open Golf Championship. The town is a peninsula with two sandy beaches popular for surfing and paddle boarding. The East Strand observes the sunrise over the Causeway Headlands while the West Strand catches stunning sunsets of the Donegal headlands. We launched the Redshark Waterbikes from the harbour end of the West strand cycling beneath the 'Ramore" Headland then a short 1km cycle across the bay to explore the caves at Black Rock.
