Kinbane Castle, also locally referred to as Kenbane, is situated just outside Ballycastle.
Kinbane means white head and refers to the white limestone on which the castle stands.
Built in 1547 the castle remains, and the surrounding area is a Scheduled Historic Monument and provides stunning views towards Rathlin Island and Fair head.
